*Terms & Conditions

  1. The SHK Direct 6-month securities cash account fee waiver offer (“Cash Account Offer”)is provided and coordinated by SHK Online (Securities) Limited (“SHKOS”), a member of the Sun Hung Kai Financial group (“SHKF”). SHKOS operates under “SHK Direct”, a sub-brand of SHKF.
  2. “Promotion Period” of the Cash Account Offer starts from 1 April 2017 and ends on 30 April 2017, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  3. The Cash Account Offer is only applicable to new customers (“New Customer”) who fulfil the following conditions: (i) did not have an individual or joint trading account maintained with any member company of SHKF or its subsidiaries in the 12 months preceding the effective date of account opening; (ii) were not a beneficial owner of any corporate trading account maintained with any member company of SHKF or its subsidiaries during the aforesaid period; (iii) successfully open an individual or joint securities cash trading account or securities margin trading account with SHKOS via SHK Direct during the Promotion Period; and (iv) fulfill the terms and conditions of the Cash Account Offer.

*Terms and Conditions of Cash Accounts Fee Waiver Offer

  1. New Customer who successfully opens an individual or joint securities cash account with SHK Direct during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the Cash Account Offer.
  2. The Cash Account Offer allows New Customer to enjoy commission fee waiver up to HK$5,000, HK$10,000 or HK$28,888 respectively, which is subject to the Net Inflow in the account as stated in the table below and is only applicable to buy or sell trades of HK Shares, Shenzhen A Shares andShanghai A Shares through SHK Direct for the period starting from successful account opening until the end of the sixth month after account opening.

  3. For the Cash Account Offer, New Customer is required to pay the full commission for buying or selling HK Shares, Shenzhen A Shares or Shanghai A Shares or in the first place ie 1) 0.138% of transaction amount for buying or selling HK Shares, minimum HK$88 per transaction; 2) 0.138% of transaction amount for buying or selling Shenzhen A Shares and Shanghai A Shares, minimum RMB88 per transaction; 3) US$0.02 per share for buying or selling US Stocks, minimum US$15 per transaction.   6. “A-Shares” means securities issued by companies incorporated in the Mainland which are listed and traded on the Mainland A Share markets (Shanghai and Shenzhen) and not on the SEHK.

  1. SHK Direct SZ-HK Stock Connect Account Opening Offer (“SZ-HK Stock Connect Offer”) is provided and coordinated by SHK Online (Securities) Limited (“SHKOS”), a member of the Sun Hung Kai Financial group (“SHKF”). SHKOS operates under “SHK Direct”, a sub-brand of SHKF.
  2. New Customer who successfully opens an individual or joint SZ-HK stock connect account with SHK Direct during the Promotion Period will be entitled to the SZ-HK Stock Connect Offer.
  3. The SZ-HK Stock Connect Offer is available from 1 April 2017 to 30 April 2017, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
  4. If New Customer opens an account by post on or before 30 April 2017, HK$200 worth of Gift Certificate will be sent out by post on or before 31 May 2017; the cheque must be signed by New Customer (as payer) and New Customer must comply with all the conditions set out in Clause 4. If you are not able to provide required documents or information for account opening on/before 17 May 2017 by post, New Customer cannot enjoy the SZ-HK Stock Connect Offer.
  8. The Gift Certificate cannot be exchanged for other gifts or cash. The remaining unused Gift Certificate balance cannot be used and will be deemed as forfeited. Gift Certificate is available while stock lasts.
  9. The service or product to which the Gift Certificate is entitled is provided by SOGO Hong Kong Co., Ltd (“SOGO”). Sun Hung Kai Financial and SHK Direct are not the service or product supplier and therefore shall not bear any responsibility related to the Gift Certificate or the service or product to which the Gift Certificate is entitled.   14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
